Welcome to the 2022 Hellenic Medical Society of Australia Conference
Dear colleagues and friends, Hellenes of our diaspora, it is my great honor and pleasure to invite you to participate in the World Congress of our Hellenic Medical Diaspora organized by the Hellenic Medical Society of Australia and the Global Doctors’ Hippocratic Institute.
Many Hellenic Medical Societies from all Continents made significant scientific contributions.
During this conference let us celebrate what we all, the physicians of the Hellenic Diaspora have achieved over the years. You will have the opportunity to enjoy exciting and up to date presentations in Cardiology, Geriatrics, Thermal Medicine, Community leadership, Breast Cancer treatment, Orthopaedics, Endocrinology, Neurosurgery, Healthy Diet, Pediatric Oncology, Urology, Mental health, Vaccine development, Concepts in Medical Tourism, Gynecology and IVF, Nephrology, Dermatology, Pulmonary Medicine as well as Arterial and Venous disease.

Hippocrates once said: “There are in fact two things, science and opinion; the former begets knowledge the latter ignorance”.
He also believed that “Wherever the art of Medicine is loved, there is also a love of Humanity”.

Dear colleagues, it is an absolute pleasure to welcome you to the Hellenic Medical Society of Australia and Hellenic Medical Diaspora World Congress 2022. After years of COVID restrictions we are finally able to gather in person as well as virtually.
Together with Prof Manolas and Prof Pirpiris, we have curated a truly multidisciplinary program spanning leading edge presentations, holistic approaches to age-old issues and thoughtful insight into future medical challenges.
We endeavour to deliver a dynamic, informative and enjoyable program in the spirit of Hippocrates and his perpetual gift to the world of ethical, professional and philosophical medicine.
