City of Melbourne will make parking signs easier to understand and make sure that parking works better for needs like deliveries, accessible parking and the pick-up and drop-off of people.
They have asked the Peritus Technology company to do this work.
Things to know: Always check parking signs to see if you are allowed to park. To help with this work, signs will be temporarily change. Some parking areas will temporarily be a ‘No Stopping’ area.

Where: Lonsdale Street between Russell Street and Exhibition Street.
What: Change parking signs, meters and bay markings on the road.
When: Monday 23 October to Friday 3 November 2023 (if the weather allows for a timely finish)
Times: 7AM to 5PM.
